Since 1999, Wastler Auto Service has been the go-to repair and inspection center for drivers in the Taylorsville/Mt. Airy/Eldersburg area. We’ve built our reputation on trust, top-quality repairs, and honest service—and we’re proud of it. Our modern, state-of-the-art shop gives technicians the tools, technology, and support they need to do their best work.

Now, we’re growing and looking for a skilled Auto Technician to join our family-oriented team.

What You’ll Do:

Perform vehicle diagnostics and repairs across cars, light trucks, medium-duty, and even RVs.
Handle routine maintenance like oil changes, brakes, tires, and more.
Maintain precise inspection and repair records.
Work alongside a team that values skill, integrity, and customer satisfaction.
Stay sharp with ongoing access to the latest tools, equipment, and training.
(Optional) Perform Maryland State Vehicle Inspections if licensed.

What We’re Looking For:

3+ years of experience as an automotive technician (auto, truck, or diesel).
ASE certifications preferred (but not required).
Maryland State Inspector license a strong plus—if you don’t have it, we’ll help you get it.
Strong diagnostic and repair skills across different makes and models.
Attention to detail + commitment to high-quality work.
Professional, customer-friendly communication skills.
Valid driver’s license.
